St. Petersburg Preservation
May Movies and Music in the Park

Picture
May marks the return of St. Petersburg Preservation: Movies and Music in the park. The fun will take place each Thursday evening in May (2, 9, 16, 23 and 30) in North Straub Park on Beach Drive between 4th and 5th Avenues NE. Live music starts at 7 pm and movies at dark. “Music & Movies in the Park” is produced by St. Petersburg Preservation each October and May to help highlight the beauty of our 100+ year old downtown waterfront parks to residents and visitors.

To guarantee a good spot at this popular event make sure to arrive early. Food and drink can be purchased from some of Saturday Morning Market's most popular vendors or feel free to bring a picnic basket while listening to live music from local musicians. Movie goers are encouraged to bring their own blanket or seat (a limited number of folding chairs will be available). Convenient parking for North Straub Park is located at the Baywalk garage or in the Pier parking lots. New this May, bicycle valet is available to those whole choose to bike to the movies.
Movies are free; pay-what-you-can donations are greatly appreciated.
