Architectural Review Committee
- Committee Purpose: The ARC plays a critical role in maintaining a cohesive community appearance, ensuring new construction doesn't negatively impact neighbors (such as blocking views), and ultimately protecting our property values.
- ARC members review all plans for construction with respect to the deed restrictions. The committee meets monthly and reviews submissions throughout the year. These submissions include, but are not limited to, new construction, renovations, seawalls, roofs, docks, and boatlifts. An ARC checklist is enclosed.
- Qualifications: Background experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or real estate is preferred, but not required.
- Core Requirement: The only true requirement is a desire to help your neighbors ensure their construction projects comply with current Venetian Isles Deed Restrictions.
- Time Commitment: Approximately 3 to 4 hours per month, plus attendance at one review meeting.
- Explore the Role: You are invited to observe an upcoming meeting to see how the committee works, meet the 5 current A.R.C. members, and determine if it is a good fit for you.
- Next Steps & Resources:
- Learn More: Visit the A.R.C. website page for details on the review process and requirements.
- Contact: Feel free to reach out to me or any of the other current A.R.C. members for more information.
